• How far in advance should I book?

    We recommend beginning your planning at least 4–6 weeks ahead for the Events format and 6–8 weeks or more for the Experience format. Peak times (weekends, holidays) fill up fastest, so early enquiry is best.

  • What is the minimum guest count?

    For Longtable Events, the minimum is 20 guests; for The Longtable Experience, the minimum is 4 guests. If you have a smaller group, we can discuss custom options.

  • Can you host the event at any location?

    Yes - we cater at private homes, rooftops, estates, gallery spaces and more. We’ll evaluate the space beforehand (kitchen access, logistics, parking) to ensure we can deliver the level of service we promise.

  • What if my venue has HOA or venue restrictions?

    It’s important that the host confirms the space allows off-site catering and that any noise, parking or permit restrictions are met. We’ll assist with logistics, but the host is responsible for checking local rules.

  • Are dietary requirements accommodated?

    Absolutely - vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary needs can be accommodated when notified in advance. Please provide full details of guests’ requirements at the time of booking.

  • Can I customise my menu?

    Yes - all of our offerings allow for menu customization. We build a seasonal menu framework but can tailor key elements to your taste.

  • What is the pricing structure?

    Pricing is based on a per-person rate plus any required rentals or upgrades. Guest count, venue location, menu complexity and rental requirements all influence the final quote. We’ll provide a detailed estimate once we’ve aligned on the event format.

  • What is your payment and cancellation policy?

    A 50% deposit is required to secure your date, with final payment due prior to the event. Cancellation terms vary by format and date - we’ll provide full policy details in the proposal.

  • What about staffing and timing?

    Longtable team are allocated based on the size and complexity of your event. Timing, service flow, setup and cleanup are managed by us. Should you require extra hours, staff or production, we can arrange that in the quote.
